We sailed up to see the USS Vinson docked in Cabrillo Beach/San Pedro/LA Harbor for Fleetweek today. The USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) is the third Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and is named in honor of Congressman Carl Vinson of Georgia.
